Playing in Parker
We spent the weekend in Parker, Arizona, at the charming river home of our dear friends, Scott and Renee. They brought a lovely couple with them, Ed and Gigi; we all just hit it off immediately. Together we enjoyed exhilarating boat rides, wakeboarding, and bar hopping along the Colorado River during the day. It was inspiring to watch our hosts, Renee and Scott, demonstrating their semi-pro level wakeboarding and wake surfing:) We all had a fantastic time on the water, with varying levels of success at the water sports:) At night, we made dinner at the house and played some fun and competitive rounds of Rummikub. Scott was our fearless grill master, and Renee and Gigi made the delicious and perfectly paired side dishes. Ed (Gigi’s husband) made creative use of our dinner leftovers for brunch, showcasing his culinary talents. We are so grateful to our hosts and to our new friends for making the weekend so wonderful. We had a blast!
